Welcome to OnCall Nursing Services
Founded in 2023, OnCall Nursing Services began with a simple but powerful mission: to ensure that every care facility and every home in our community could access dependable, compassionate, and professional nursing support. After nearly two decades in nursing, my journey has taken me through acute care hospitals and long-term care settings across British Columbia. Those experiences shaped not only my clinical expertise but also my deep understanding of the challenges families face when consistent, high-quality care isn’t available.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed a troubling gap in seniors and vulnerable individuals receiving care that meets basic needs, but not always trust, familiarity, dignity, and genuine connection. It was this realization that inspired me to expand OnCall Nursing Services beyond staffing to include personalized home care, bringing hospital-level competence and heartfelt compassion directly into the homes of those who need it most.
At the core of OnCall Nursing Services is a team led by nurses who understand care from the inside out. My own background spans 18 years of frontline experience, including leadership roles as a Clinical Nurse Educator with Fraser Health Authority, Clinical Associate with the University of British Columbia, and over a decade of teaching in the Practical Nursing program at Vancouver Career College. These roles allowed me to mentor nurses, advance clinical standards, and help shape a more resilient healthcare community.
Today, OnCall Nursing Services represents more than a staffing agency; it is a reflection of my commitment to raising the standard of care across every environment. We are proud to deliver professional, compassionate, and consistent nursing services that honor both the science and the soul of caregiving. With over 17 years of experience in home care and community health, I bring extensive clinical knowledge and leadership expertise to the coordination of care for our clients and their families. My background includes 10 years of bedside nursing in both home health and long-term care, with a strong focus on seamless hospital-to-home transitions and supporting families in navigating long-term care and assisted living decisions.
My leadership experience spans over a decade in home care, including roles as an LPN Supervisor and HR Manager. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to building strong care teams, mentoring staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, client-focused care.
I am passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate support that allows individuals to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Being part of each client’s care journey is both a privilege and a responsibility that I hold with great respect.
